Welcome to House of Secrets

Hi everyone, Paul here. Welcome to the HoS Web site. October 2010 marked my 20th year retailing comics, starting with ACME Comics in Montrose Ca, thru House of Mystery (1995-1998), and now House of Secrets. A lot has changed along the way. What remains a constant however is my love of comics and the people that read them. There is a reason there is a "House" in our little Casa de Secrets. What I've tried to create here is a feeling of family, a place where all can sit at the dinner table and discuss our day, or in comic terms our likes, dislikes and views on comics, art or that horrible English National team! I hope this comes through, if not feel free to drop me a line and let me know where we fall short.

I've made a lot of friends through this store, I've seen customers grow from young 'uns to strapping men with kids of their own, the loyalty I've experienced is truly heartwarming. On behalf of myself and my family I thank you all. Ok, end of sappy intro, onto the fun stuff, each month I plan to discuss an aspect of comics,also on these pages you'll find reviews by the staff and myself on all things comic related. Also this site serves as an update for the Art of Fiction, which for the unknowing is the publication house for Mr. Warfield and myself. As before we welcome comments and opinions on all AoF projects. Sooo...now you know where we are going and what we plan to do, here is my first verbal emission.
